Effective 7 November 2026
Mimamori is an iPhone app made by Project Euthyna, Inc. This policy covers the app and this website.
The short version
- Mimamori has no account, and we run no server for it. Nothing you do in the app reaches us.
- Your ensō says you’re well. It’s kept on your iPhone, and shown to the people you’ve chosen through your own iCloud and theirs. We can’t see it.
- The names of your people never leave your phone. The app has no ads, no analytics, no trackers and no code from anyone but Apple and us. This website sets no cookies.
What the app keeps on your iPhone
When you last drew your ensō and in which hand, the names you’ve given your people, which face you were on, and your settings. The names are yours alone: they’re kept on your phone and are never written anywhere else.
What your people see, and how
When you add a person, the app makes a small shared space in your iCloud, a CloudKit zone, for the two of you, and the link you send lets them join it. Each of you writes two things into it, and nothing more: when you last drew your ensō and in which hand, if you share it; and the seal you gave the other, with when it was given. From that, the other person’s phone shows your ensō while it’s kept, and your seal beside their name until midnight.
A person who shares nothing writes no time, so the other sees only the app’s own ensō, and nothing about their day leaves their phone. If someone invited you, the shared space is in their iCloud and you join it; if you invited them, it’s in yours. Either way Apple holds it under your Apple Accounts and Apple’s privacy policy, and Project Euthyna has no access to it. Your phones learn of each other’s changes through Apple’s notification service; those notifications carry nothing but the fact of a change.
Each pair of people has a space of its own, so nobody sees who else is among your people.
The warning
The warning before your ensō goes is a notification your iPhone schedules for itself. It’s made and shown on the phone, and nothing about it is sent to us.
What reaches us
Nothing from the app itself. Apple may pass two things on to us through its own services, and only if you’ve agreed to it:
- If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers, crash reports and usage figures that Apple gathers and does not tie to you. You can turn this off in Settings, under Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements.
- During the beta, the feedback and screenshots you send through TestFlight, and its crash reports, with what TestFlight attaches to them as Apple describes in the TestFlight app.
We use these only to fix and improve the app.
If you write to us
If you email support@projecteuthyna.com, we get your address and what you write, and use them only to answer you. Ask, and we’ll delete them.
This website
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Like any website, its host, Microsoft Azure, sees each visitor’s IP address and the pages they ask for, in logs kept for security and to keep the site running.
Removing a person, and deleting what you’ve kept
Remove, on a person’s sheet, ends the sharing between you. If you invited them, the shared space is deleted from your iCloud with everything in it. If they invited you, you leave it, and what you wrote there stays in their iCloud until they remove you too.
Deleting the app removes what it keeps on that iPhone. The shared spaces are in iCloud, not on the phone: remove each of your people first, or delete Mimamori’s data from your iCloud storage in your iPhone’s Settings. Either way, it’s gone for good: we hold no copy to bring back.
Children
The app collects nothing from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with its date. If a change ever means the app collecting something it doesn’t today, we’ll say so in the app before it does.
